Charts, graphs and tables

Data visualization is an important means of presenting information in ways that help with drawing insights. To be effective they need to be distinctive, clear, consistent and impactful, while presenting information accurately. Data visualization commonly takes the form of charts and graphs. Use of type, color, and iconography should follow the guidelines defined for Atlas Copco Group. General styling for pie charts, bar graphs and line graphs are shown below. For any other graph, chart or visualization, follow the applicable guidelines defined in this guide. Always ensure that the guidelines for graphs do not overpower the graphics and that the numbers and labels are legible.
Use your creative judgment when selecting colors from the defined palette and when deciding on line weights, font sizes and any aspect of design that has not been defined in this manual.

Usage of table style

We recommend use of simple table styles as shown in the examples below. We recommend two versions: one for use against a teal background and another version for use against a white background. Whenever fills are used, ensure that the data/information remains legible. Use your creative judgment when selecting colors from the defined palette, when deciding on line weights, font sizes and any aspect of design that has not been defined in this manual.
