Visual identity

Social media

Social media posts should reflect our purpose, values and culture in a positive way and be used as a tool for supporting the business and building our identity. As an important touchpoint, it is essential to take the right approach to social media to protect and build the brand.

Profile logotypes

For all social media profile pictures, use logotype on teal background option. For proper visibility, we use reduced free space around it.

Use the circular version on platforms, such as Instagram, that display the image in a circular format.

Use the square version on platforms (like LinkedIn) that display the image in a square format.

Banner images

The banner image is the most prominently displayed image on a company's social media page and should encapsulate the Group's personality.

To ensure the cover image is clearly visible on all devices, try to keep the image's focal point in the "green" zone. Most of the image should fall within the "blue" zone (as shown in the image). Ensure that no significant details in the banner fall within the red zone.

Video thumbnails

Thumbnails should serve as a preview of the content while also capturing the viewer’s attention. We’ve created templates to support this.

For platforms such as YouTube, we utilize a template featuring the Atlas Copco Group logotype (single color version) positioned in the bottom left corner. This approach ensures that the brand remains clearly visible among numerous videos in the feed.

When sharing videos on social media platforms where the logotype is consistently visible as the post author, we utilize a thumbnail template that does not include the Group logotype.

The single color versions of Atlas Copco Group logotype can only be used for YouTube thumbnails.
